As Carolina celebrates Black History Month, the University seeks opportunities to challenge us to do better as a community and as a nation. Throughout February, units across campus are hosting lectures, panels and other events to celebrate the observance. - Former US Attorney General Loretta Lynch delivered the 37th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Keynote address, which was originally scheduled for January but was delayed due to snow.
- Former North Carolina Chief Justice Henry Frye reflected on his career — and lifetime — of many firsts.
- Carolina recognized Colin Palmer as a Bridge Builder, renaming a scholarship in his honor.
